Can Rajinikanth’s Kabali beat Aamir Khan’s PK in Collections

Kabali is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language gangster film written and directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu. The film plot concerns the gang war between Kabaleeswaran (played by Rajinikanth) and Tony Lee (portrayed by Winston Chao). Radhika ApteDhansikaKishoreDineshKalaiyarasan, and John Vijay also appear in pivotal roles
PK was the India No.1 in box collections with life time collections at 625.65 crores. Salman Khan's Bajarangi Bhaijaan and Prabhas Bahubali are the two movies behind the Amir Khan Starrer PK with 600Cr and 578.95Cr.Bajrangi Bhaijan gone house full & made fanatic in the first week and collects the huge amount of 184.62 Cr which manage to stand at 2nd position with lifetime box-office collections of 600Cr . Coming to Baahubali has fantastic and make a boom in the box office in his  first week. It become a first movie which enter in 200Cr clucb in five days. which manage to stand at 3rd position. Baahubali faced the tuff competition from Bajrangi Bhaijan, Drihyam etc. Kabali almost generated half of the amount by its 7th day with 300 crore which already created first week box-office collections.

Kabali wasn't able to beat PK to become No.1 in box-office collections. But it was a new record only for Rajanikanth's movie made huge opening and ended with almost 650 cores. Which means 9 times of film budget , as per Indian Express report the film budget was around 75 cores only said by the producer of the film.
