Pabuk Cyclone Warning in Andaman | Odisha Seven Districts on Alert, January 2019

After Cyclone 'Pabuk' warning in the South China Sea, Cyclone storm likely to cross Andaman and Nicobar Island on 6th January 2019.

The Odisha government put on alter between 5th January to 7th January 2019 for seven districts ( Balasore , Bhadrak , Ganjam ,Jagatsinghpur , Kendrapara , Kudra and Puri) after Cyclonic activities in South China Sea .The collectors of Odisha seven districts have been asked to stay alert and monitor situation.

Heavy rains are expected from 5-7 January due to tropical Cyclone 'Pabuk' in the Andaman and Nicobar Island with wind with a speed range between 40 - 60 K mph. The 'Pabuk' is expected to emerge in the Andaman sea on 5th January 2019 and likely to cross the Andaman & Nicobar-island on 6th January 2019.

The cyclonic storm will then move northwestwards towards Myanmar coast and weaken further between 7th - 8th January 2019.
The weather department has advised Fishermen not to Venture into deep sea, but their is no specific Waring has issued to fisherman
